About me
About Me – Adhithyan 🩺
Hello there! I’m Adhithyan, a dedicated healthcare student on a journey toward making a positive impact in the medical field. From early days of fascination to navigating clinical rotations today, I’m motivated by compassion, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
🌟 My Story
My healthcare dream took root early—I was drawn to helping others and exploring science. Studying medicine in Kerala, India, has exposed me to diverse clinical environments, from teaching hospitals to small community clinics. These experiences have deepened my empathy and highlighted the importance of teamwork in patient care.
Seeing staff handle large patient loads in public hospitals has taught me valuable lessons about resilience and collaboration in healthcare settings—values I carry into my own training.
What I’m Studying
Currently, I’m immersed in a healthcare program that combines:
-
Medical sciences: Anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology.
-
Clinical skills: Vital signs, medical procedures, diagnostic tests, direct patient care.
-
Public health & ethics: Health promotion, bioethics, patient education, cultural competence.
(Concorde and other health student guides emphasize a full day of lectures, labs, hands-on patient care, group-study, and time for self-directed learning.) (Notes from a Nursing Student 🩺, Concorde Career Colleges)
Balancing theory and practice has kept my days full—from early mornings attending lectures to afternoons in labs and evening clinical placements, along with catch-up in independent study sessions.
Why I Chose Healthcare
At the heart of healthcare lies service, connection, and responsibility. Whether providing emotional comfort or explaining treatment to a worried patient, I love that this field allows me to truly make a difference in someone’s life.
The challenges of intense schedules, academic pressure, and clinical complexities only strengthen my resolve. Each rotation brings new lessons, faces, and perspectives, reminding me that patients are teachers, too.
